Engineers and volunteers

The preservation of the Allchorn Pleasure Boats and the traditional services they provide takes ever increasing time and resources.  Our skilled engineer and volunteers work hard and  enthusiastically to ensure that everything is ready for the season. 

Volunteers Always Required

We always need, and would greatly welcome, any help throughout the year from skilled and enthusiastic carpenters and engineers to help carry out maintenance and restoration work on the William Allchorn, Southern Queen and Amphibious DUKW.  So, if you are an ‘Allchorn’ or ‘historic boat’ enthusiast, can spare a few hours per week, then please call Jason on 01323 410606. 

Paid Beach Assistants and Boat Crew Members required

Are you a boat enthusiast who would like to take your enthusiasm a bit further?  We are on the lookout for Beach Assistants and Boat Crew Members to join our team throughout the summer season in 2010 and onwards.   If you are interested, then please call Jason on 01323 410606.
